I see victory coming your way

Have you been overwhelmed lately , feeling defeated, needing a breakthrough? Well I got news for you, God is giving you victory today.

In 1 Samuel 17:45-47

45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, 47 and that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hand.”

In this passage you will learn to never under estimate the power within you. You may look small and feel small before the giant in front of you, the Mountain before you may look so big and you might feel like you can’t overcome it or win it. But Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Jesus continues to remind you that the battle is not yours but He’s. He overcame everything 2000 years ago in him you have 100% guaranteed victory.

Just like We see in 1 Samuel 17:45-47 The story of David when he overcame the Giants before him.  So many of us are faced with problems just like David was faced with a huge problem, he had to face a giant. We may not meet Goliath in person today but we encounter many similar Giants in our lives today.

How many of you have been discouraged, talked about by family members and friends when you encountered giants in your life?

  • Never listen to naysayers!                                    In 1 Samuel 17:32- 35

32 And David said to Saul, “Let no man’s heart fail because of him. Your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.” 33 And Saul said to David, “You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him, for you are but a youth, and he has been a man of war from his youth.” 34 But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep sheep for his father. And when there came a lion, or a bear, and took a lamb from the flock, 35 I went after him and struck him and delivered it out of his mouth. And if he arose against me, I caught him by his beard and struck him and killed him.

Many times when you face Giants people in your life will say things like you’re not good enough, you will not win  just like they said to David and try to distract you , discourage your destiny and your will to win . But always choose to listen to the voice of God over people’s negative voices that will try to make it seem like it’s your fault. People will try to hinder your progress because they want to see you fail but God will not let you fail because he calls you victorious.

Today your giant is defeated, victory is yours. Just like God gave David victory over Goliath he’s giving you victory today. Just like David! look beyond the giant before you and trust God and believe that He is stronger than the Giants before you. Remember God is a strong tower the righteous run to him and they are safe. God is stronger than all the giants in the world. God says in His word greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

God is all-powerful His greater than any mountain that is before you, His greater than your problems, His greater than your hurt, His greater than your pain, His here to give you victory! receive it, God has great plans for you because He has called you into His marvelous light so He could use your life for his glory. So do not be discouraged ,do not let the enemy win because he lost 2000 years ago , it is finished, victory belongs to you receive it today.

Always remember how God has helped you in the past and granted you victory over the impossible. As we see in the passage below David remembered how God gave him victory in the past 1 Samuel 17:34-37

34 But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep sheep for his father. And when there came a lion, or a bear, and took a lamb from the flock, 35 I went after him and struck him and delivered it out of his mouth. And if he arose against me, I caught him by his beard and struck him and killed him. 36 Your servant has struck down both lions and bears, and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be like one of them, for he has defied the armies of the living God.” 37 And David said, “The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you!”

Through remembering David got confidence from God who helped him destroy the Lions. How many things has God delivered you from  in the past that seemed so impossible but still God gave you victory? Remember those things because God will give you the courage and the confidence to fight the battle before you and defeat the giant before you.

Since God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow, this same God will help you and deliver you out of your current situation.

So I declare upon you today you will conquer the giant before you. And this day people will know that God does not need weapons to deliver you. He is the deliverer and the victor of your life.

In conclusion victory belongs to you today it’s yours, I see it over you, receive it in Jesus name because God’s destiny for you is to excel,be blessed, be the best in every area of your life because His giving you victory over the impossible and anything that has tried to overwhelm you ,kill you, and defeat you. In the name of Jesus you have the victory.
