Are you having a bad day, has your week been hectic and has the season your living in been so difficult filled with trials and tribulation? Whatever it is God wants you to praise him anyway. Many times when life hands us the unexpected , daily struggles the reality is that those things often crowd out our praise to God.
Praise God through the storm , praise Him because you are not where you used to be and praise Him because you are still alive. Praise Him for the good and the bad, for the ups and downs, for everything that has been overwhelming you, praise Him and trust His word and know His going to turn it all around for your good, praise Him anyway.
When you praise God in-spite of , all the chains that have been holding you captive will be broken, every sickness and disease that’s been tormenting your life will be no more because Jesus is your provider, refuge, healer and because you have chosen to fix your eyes on Jesus ,He will make away for you where seems to be no way.
Psalm 103:2 …Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,
The secret to praising God in the midst of your trials is that it unlocks favor, blessings breakthroughs, peace. There is power in praising God. When you choose to honor God with your praise instead of complaining and murmuring or be sad and depressed, God will honor you in the presence of your enemies and anoint you with oil and surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life because you chose to praise God anyway and honored Him.
Psalm 150:1-6…Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
When you praise God you will take the focus off yourself and back to God because He alone deserves our praise. Many times when we are going through trials its easy to be a victim of self. This is when you make everything about yourself. The “me me mentality” which causes selfishness. But today choose to fix your eyes on Jesus because that’s where your hope if found.
Just like the great song says ….. “My hope is built on nothing less, Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus’ name. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand”.
When you praise God, He pushes back the darkness, stops the storm and protects you from the devils lies. So do your dance, shout the loudest and give God the highest praise.
- Praise him—he is your God, and you have seen with your own eyes the great and astounding things that he has done for you. (Deuteronomy 10:21)
- Praise the LORD who has given his people peace, as he promised he would. (1 Kings 8:56)
- The LORD is my strong defender; he is the one who has saved me. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will sing about his greatness. (Exodus 15:2)
- I will tell of the LORD’s unfailing love; I praise him for all he has done for us. He has richly blessed the people of Israel because of his mercy and constant love. (Isaiah 63:7)
