“He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. Psalms 91:15
prayer is a powerful tool we use to communicate with God when we need something. God also states it in the Bible that if we need anything we should ask him and He will provide.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24
I believe sometimes many of us get to that state when we ask God for something and we haven’t received the manifestation of what we have prayed for and we get so frustrated in the waiting process. If you are one of those people i want to encourage you today to trust God’s timing. He knows the right time and season for your breakthrough. So do not give up on praying and waiting on your miracles and remember God is always on time and He knows your wants and needs and He will provide.
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
Here are some examples in the bible of how God answered prayer when His children trusted Him. I believe He can do the same for you today….
*Now it came about in the course of those many days that the king of Egypt died. And the sons of Israel sighed because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry for help because of their bondage rose up to God. So God heard their groaning; and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God saw the sons of Israel, and God took notice of them. Exodus 2:23-25
*Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see ” And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. When they came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD and said, “Strike this people with blindness, I pray.” So He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha. Then Elisha said to them, “This is not the way, nor is this the city; follow me and I will bring you to the man whom you seek.” And he brought them to Samaria. 2 Kings 6:17-20
*Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!” And God granted him what he requested. 1 Chronicles 4:10
*But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your petition has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will give him the name John. Luke 1:13
No matter how long it takes God will always answer your prayers. Just like He did it for the men and the women in the Bible, He will do the same for you. Trust God and know that He is all knowing and faithful God.
I encourage today, Jesus loves you and His will is to answer all your prayers. Remember His delays and not His denials. For those who do know him and rely on him, Jesus seems to be wildly generous in his offer: “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.”John 15:7. To “remain” in Him and have His words remain in us means we conduct our lives aware of him, relying on Him, listening to what He says. Then be able to ask him whatever we want. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us then whatever we ask ,we know that we have what we asked of him.”
Whatever you have prayed and it has not manifested yet don’t give up but wait on the Lord and trust Him. His got all the answers to your prayers and He will never abandon you or live you defenseless. He got you covered and His answer for you is yes and Amen.
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3
