Many times we are ashamed of our weaknesses instead of embracing them and know that they are a part of our growth and maturity in life through Christ Jesus.
When things don’t go our way in life we have to learn to lean on God and not our own strength. Every time we try to do things in our own way or by trusting in our own abilities we end up failing, overreacting, frustrated and which makes us act more in the flesh and not in the spirit of God.
There’s a reason why God tells us in the Bible that His strength is made perfect in our weakness. God knew that many times we will fall Short , lose strength and fail at some things that are going to cause us to feel so weak and ashamed that we are not able to do what we are supposed to. Many times in life we are faced with situations the that have forced us to confront issues that we know and we felt like we were not strong enough or good enough to achieve those things or to do those things. That’s why God in His word is reminding you to lean on Him when you do not have strength. God is your strength and your refuge, in Him you are safe.
When your faith is tested and you don’t know what to do in those situations and sometimes you get the thought of thinking that you can fix these things in your own strength and then you end up disappointed, don’t be surprised just remember you were leaning on your own strength and not God’s. Always choose God’s strength over your own. God knows you and everything He has is store for you is good.
In tough situations that are difficult for you to handle and bare lean and depend on God’s strength because He said His strength is made perfect in your weakness which means when you are weak He is strong, when you can’t achieve something and when you get so hopeless, He will be your present help in times of need.
Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
God is the source of your spiritual strength trust in His abilities. Look not on your own natural abilities, for God’s spirit will empower you when you walk by faith in Him. When you are weak in your life and you feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, call upon Jesus, trust in God, trust in His strength and He will uplift you and help you overcome the many waters that have tried to drown you and He will protect you, save you and strengthen you in your time of Weakness.
Always Love, Antoinette
