God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble-psalms 46:1. God is so reach in grace and mercy that He protects us from harm and danger even when we don’t deserve it. Have you ever wondered why bad things were happening to others and not you?, or have you asked God a question why He saved your life from death even when you knew you should have died in that incident ( whatever it might be) but you didn’t?.

Many times when we go through trials and tribulations and sometimes when we are experiencing hardships we tend to think we are all alone and nobody cares. The truth is God is always present in every area of your life. In the darkness, in your failures,in the chaos and in sickness His there holding you hand and protecting you even when you can’t feel Him or trace Him. His love will always go above and beyond to protect you.

God’s protection comes in any form, you can not predict how God will protect you but He always does because His is the all knowing God and He sees all things. Sometimes God’s protection comes in the form of peace and strength in the middle of despair. Sometimes God’s protection comes as an ending because he sees something more on the horizon that we cannot see.

Sometimes God’s protection comes through intercepting and changing our plans that might have led us into the enemies claws. As a believer in Jesus, we are promised in God’s word that God will always protect us because He who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps but His watching over you and me.

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,  he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.- Psalm 23

God is real and He makes a way where seems to be no way. This week was so tough on me and my family but through it we witnessed God’s protection on another level. Long story short… my two sisters came face to face with death when a huge tide hit their boat and it overturned into lake Victoria in East Africa and by the grace of God both my sisters survived. Only God did it…they could have died but God covered and protected them and  I am forever grateful. The boat had 150 people on board…25 survived 30 people died and the rest are missing. God answers prayers y’all and His faithful. You can’t tell me that God’s protection isn’t real.

Whatever you are facing today, whatever you are going through, or whoever your praying for, i want you to know that God’s protection is upon them, God is faithful and answers prayers. If your heart is troubled and is in disbelief…don’t lose hope because if God is for you nothing and no one can be against you in Jesus name.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?  My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.-Psalms 121
