8 Ways on How to get your Joy back!

1. By dwelling in God’s presence
When you dwell daily In God’s Presence his spirit will fill your heart with so much joy and you’ll be able to overcome anything. The presence of God releases joy into your spirit every time you seek God through prayer and acquiring wisdom from His throne. When you pray God pours His anointing of Joy over your spirit and sets you free from anything that has held you captive. Whenever you feel like you have lost your joy, your hope or your belief in anything get get on your knees pray to your father in Heaven who hears and listens and He will answer your prayers. The more you spend time in God’s presence the more of His Joy will feel your heart. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11

2. By Reading God’s Word daily.
God’s word is very powerful that it contains wisdom that produces Joy. There so many scriptures in the Bible that speak about the joy of the Lord and it’s important for us to operate with peace and joy in our Spirit in order to have to be successful at whatever we do. The Bible also shows us how to deal with conflicts in different situations that might trigger happiness and other emotions that are not of God. Staying connected to the word of God will help you eliminate anything that will try to steal your joy away. The Bible also reminds us that the joy of the Lord is our strength. When you read the word of God you’re filled with more of God and more of God means more of Joy more of God’s strength. When you read Gods word daily your heart will overflow with joy that you will have no room for anything else but you will be filled daily with the power of His Joy that transcends anything. I have inherited Your testimonies forever, For they are the joy of my heart. Psalms 119:111

3. Having hope in the Lord!
It’s so exciting when you have hope in the Lord. Having hope in the king of the universe should immediately give you Joy. It does for me. When I think about the sacrifices that God did for me because He loved me so much that He wanted me to have joy in my heart and that He sent his son Jesus Christ to die for my sins, to redeemed me from the curse and to give me freedom to be able to exercise the gifts of the Spirit which one of them is joy, it’s amazing how a God that is so loving would love us this much. Let your hope be in God because He watches over you, He loves you and He always wants you to be joyful.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

4. Having faith in God and believing everything is going to be okay
Having faith in God will always elevate you to the next level. Your belief in God and knowing that He will provide for you and that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf that alone will make your heart be joyful because your heart is expectant and you are believing in something that you do not see. You trust and have faith in God that He is going to see through every promise He ever made you. God will always give you the joy that you need every time you place your trust and have faith in Him. He will never leave you he will nor forsake you. As you have faith in Him, He will give you all the joy that you need in the process. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

5. Choosing peace over conflict
In order to have peace in your daily life every time you encounter a situation that would cause you to be frustrated or make you act out of character and take away your joy always choose peace over conflict. Never engage in the situation that would rob you of your joy and happiness. Remember that you deserve the joy of the Lord to dwell in your heart. You have to train your heart to always be mindful that having peace inside your heart outweighs any negativity that may come at your way in any situation. In order for you not to let your joy be affected when a situation presents itself and you know it’s going to cause you to be angry or act in a certain way just redirect and command your mind to be at peace instead of reacting. I know this doesn’t happen instantly sometimes you going to have it perfect sometimes you’re not going to have it perfect but you have to train yourself that in any situation that makes you feel like you have to react choose not to react. Sometimes being silent about a situation actually is a good thing because you’re able to retain your joy Within and God will give you the wisdom and the guidance on how to deal with these situations in a more peaceful way. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

The Holy Spirit gives us the wisdom that we need to operate in joy because he is joy. Whenever you are feeling sad and unworthy remember that you are operating in the flesh and not in the spirit. Every time you operate in the spirit of God you will always experience unspeakable joy that the world and your friends cannot give you but only God. Rely on the spirit of God for your joy and you will never leave a day without it.
